Jewish extremists from price tag vandalize public buses in Silwan

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Members of the terrorist Jewish group known as the price tag gang punctured tires of three big public buses and spray-painted anti-Arab slurs on them in Thawri neighborhood of Silwan district, south of the Aqsa Mosque.

Local sources reported that the sabotaged buses are owned by a Palestinian company and used to transport passengers from the district to Bethlehem and vice versa.

They added that the Israeli police did not even come to the scene to investigate the incident, noting that the owners of the bus company would lodge a complaint in this regard with the Israeli complaint center Mahesh.

Since its emergence, the price tag gang had carried out many different attacks against Palestinian property and religious sites, including arson attacks on mosques and churches.

Their attacks take the form of not only graffiti and vandalism at religious sites, but also attempted murders, burning crops, killing livestock, terrorizing villagers, and poisoning water sources.

Hundreds of trees in Nablus on fire after settlers’ attack

NABLUS, (PIC)– Jewish settlers started a huge fire in lands of Deir Hatab village, Nablus province, on Wednesday morning that destroyed hundreds of trees.

Abdulkarim Suleiman, the village’s municipality chairman, said that the settlers started fire in dozens of dunums, adding that the fire was still raging in the land to which Palestinians are banned from entering without prior coordination.

He charged the Israeli occupation forces with blocking arrival of Palestinian fire brigades to the scene to extinguish the blaze that destroyed hundreds of trees.

Suleiman said that the land is 1500 meters away from the village, adding that it was not the first time that settlers started fire in it.

Aqsa foundation warns of new Israeli attempt to falsify Arab identity of J’lem

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Aqsa foundation for endowment and heritage said that the latest Israeli claims about finding historical stone engravings near the Aqsa Mosque is another attempt to liquidate the Arab and Islamic civilization of the holy city of Jerusalem and promote the Jewish temple lie.

The foundation stated on Tuesday that the new Zionist allegations in this regard are aimed to change the reality on the ground and cement the Jewish lies about the alleged temple.

The foundation stressed that the fraud campaigns that are led by Israeli archeologists are politicized and aimed at proving the existence of Jewish heritage in Jerusalem, especially in the Umayyad Palaces area near the southern wall of the Aqsa Mosque.

150 settlers storm al-Aqsa mosque this morning

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Nearly 150 Jewish settlers stormed al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday led by rabbis telling them about the alleged temple.

A state of tension has prevailed among the Muslim worshipers who protested the presence of the Jewish settlers in the Islamic holy site.

The Aqsa Association for Religious Endowments (Waqf) and Heritage called on the Arab and Islamic world to take firm positions to protect al-Aqsa mosque from the Israeli serious schemes. The foundation also stressed the need to intensify the Muslim presence in al-Aqsa mosque.

The settlers’ raid into al-Aqsa mosque came in light of the Israeli Coalition for the Temple’s calls to open the mosque for Jews on Saturday to perform their rituals as they mark Yom Kippur (Day of Repentance). An Israeli parliament committee has approved in an unprecedented move the opening of al-Aqsa Mosque yards for Jews to perform their rituals inside it during this month.

The foundation stated that such measure came in an attempt to impose a status quo on the mosque and to divide it.

For its part, Hamas movement strongly condemned the Israeli decision to allow Jewish settlers to perform their rituals in al-Aqsa mosque.

The Israeli decision came in total provocation to Muslims’ religious feelings, the spokesman of the movement said.

The movement called on the Arab and Islamic nation to bear its responsibility towards al-Aqsa mosque in light of the Israeli escalated schemes.

Hamas stated that PA decision to resume talks provides a cover to the Israeli crimes through the securing coordination and the prosecution of resistance leaders in West Bank.

25 Jerusalemite students injured in clashes with IOF soldiers

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Israeli border police assaulted students of Abu Dis university in occupied Jerusalem while on their way home on Monday night wounding 25 of them.

A Jerusalemite activist said in a press release on Tuesday that ten students were injured with rubber bullets while 15 others were treated for breathing problems.

He said that the students could only find stones to defend themselves, adding that the wounded students were taken to a medical emergency center in Abu Dis.

Young men of nearby villages joined the students in defending themselves and clashes spread to areas near the university. The varsity guards managed to evacuate the entire campus.

Israeli occupation forces (IOA) had launched a similar assault a couple of days earlier in which 78 students were injured. IOF soldiers twice attacked the university students over the past week.

Deputy executive manager of the university Emad Abu Kishek said that the Israeli attacks, which coincide with the start of the new academic year, aim at destabilizing the university and frustrating students wishing to join it in future years.

The same practice by the Israeli military was made last year at the start of the 2012-2013 academic year.

“Israel” to Give ’Prisoner X’ family $1M Payout

Al Ahed news

“Israel” is to pay more than $1 million to the family of a Mossad spy who hanged himself in prison in 2010.

“After negotiations, the two parties [“Israel” and the family] have reached an agreement whereby the state will pay 4 million shekels [$1.1 million or 842,000 euros] to the deceased’s family,” the so-called “Israeli” “justice” ministry said in a statement late on Tuesday.

The family of Ben Zygier, an Australian-“Israeli” known as “Prisoner X,” had accused the Zionist entity of negligence in dealing with his case, according to the statement.

Zygier was found hanged in his isolation cell in Ayalon prison near Tel Aviv in December 2010 – a case “Israel” went to extreme lengths to cover up.

A court document released on April 25 this year said “Israel’s” prison service had caused Zygier’s death by failing to prevent him from committing suicide.

The document revealed details about his background and imprisonment, indicating he was suicidal and had an emotionally-charged exchange with his wife the day he was found hanged.

It also said that his cell was not properly watched by prison guards.

The justice ministry statement stressed that the deal with Zygier’s family was not an “admission of alleged wrongdoing”.

It was instead “to avoid the affair going to court, which would lead to the publication of numerous details of the case which could cause serious harm to “Israeli” security.”

The reasons for Zygier’s detention were unclear, but the Australian Broadcasting Corporation said in a report in May that the 34-year-old, who was working for “Israel’s” foreign spy service Mossad, had unwittingly sabotaged a top secret spy operation in Lebanon.

Palestine: Warnings about storming AlAqsa & fishing boats seized

Mufti of Jerusalem warns of the seriousness of Jewish calls for storming Al-Aqsa

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and Palestine Sheikh Mohammad Hussein warned of the growing Israeli calls for storming Al-Aqsa Mosque and tightening the Jewish control over it.

The last of these calls was by the occupation Police Commissioner Yohanan Danino in which he falsely claimed the right of Jews to pray inside Al-Aqsa considering it one of the yards the alleged temple.

Sheikh Hussein said in a statement on Tuesday: “The remarks and practices by the occupation authorities against the holy sites, particularly the Al-Aqsa Mosque, represent serious violations.”

He warned of the consequences of the attitude of silence regarding these calls that carry serious intentions against the holy sites, as he said.

Hussein pointed out that the calls for storming Al-Aqsa Mosque comes after similar calls by the Jewish rabbis to demolish the Aqsa and build the alleged temple on its ruins, which refers to the “imminent danger faced by the Islamic Mosque that must be protected by all Muslims.”

The preacher of Al-Aqsa mosque appealed to Palestinian citizens in the city of Jerusalem and the 1948 territories to flock to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and defend it against the Jewish attacks.

Workers in the Aqsa Mosque said that the rabbis, who were wearing the special costume for the temple, gave lectures and training on future prayers inside their alleged temple. They said that heavy police presence was witnessed throughout the tour, describing the rabbis’ act as a very serious precedence as no rabbi in this costume had entered the Aqsa before. Worshipers and scholars present in the Mosque were irritated at the site and chanted Allahu Akbar. The rabbis and settlers toured its various plazas as police and special forces surrounded them.

’Israeli’ Minister: Al-Aqsa Ours, must be Opened for Jews At All Times

Al Ahed news

“Israeli” Settling Minister Uri Ariel viewed that “Israelis” “must be able to pray on the “Temple Mount” [AL-Quds Holy Mosque] whenever they want.”

As he led the Wednesday’s desecration to the Islamic Holy site, Ariel claimed that al-Aqsa “is the holiest place for the Jewish people, and must be open for prayer at every hour to every Jew.”

Ariel invaded into al-Quds Holy Mosque Wednesday, and hoped that the “Israelis” would be able to do the same.

Meanwhile, “Israeli” police closed all gates leading to the mosque and prevented worshipers under 50 from entering. They also stopped dozens of buses in Occupied al-Quds carrying Palestinian worshipers to the mosque and told them to turn around.

Five people were detained by “Israel”.

The “Israeli” minister further revealed that he “plans to continue to go up and strengthen “Israel’s” sovereignty in the site.”

“The “Temple Mount” is ours, and it cannot be argued about or negotiated,” Ariel emphasized.

Earlier this year, Ariel launched virtual, online tours to the Islamic site.
Al-Aqsa compound, containing the mosque and the Dome of the Rock, is the third holiest site in Islam and “Israelis” claim that is the place of the ancient Second Temple stood.

Report: 30 Palestinian children from Qalqiliya are still in Israeli jails

QALQILIYA, (PIC)– The Palestinian prisoner society said that the number of Palestinian children from Qalqiliya city who are detained in Israeli jails rose to 30 prisoners after the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped seven kids in last August.

In a report, the society outlined some of the violations that were committed by the IOF against the detained children, confirming that most of the children were kidnapped from their homes during violent night raids.

It added that these children and their families were exposed during the detention process to humiliation and physical abuse, noting that the children were taken handcuffed and blindfolded to interrogation centers without the presence of their parents.

The center appealed to human rights groups, especially the ones concerned with the rights of children, to necessarily move to have all Palestinian children released, affirming that they were detained extrajudicially and without evidence.

27 Palestinian buildings demolished during August

NABLUS, (PIC)– The Israeli authorities have continued demolition policy against Palestinian houses during August under the pretext of being built without permits, Tadamun Foundation for Human Rights said.

The researcher at the Foundation, Ahmed Betawi, said that 27 Palestinian buildings were demolished mainly in Jerusalem during August by Israeli bulldozers.

Betawi stated that the Israeli forces demolished on August 17 a Palestinian house in Negev, while they forced another Palestinian citizen to demolish his house in Jerusalem.

On August 19, the Israeli bulldozers demolished 11 Palestinian residential buildings in Beit Hanina in occupied Jerusalem, in addition to three agricultural facilities in Nablus and another facility in the Jordan Valley.

On August 21, the center reported that a 60-square-neter room was demolished in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem, and three other facilities were demolished in Abbaseya neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem.

On August 26, the Israeli bulldozers demolished 2 houses in Tur neighborhood and an agricultural facility in Issawiya village.

Betawi pointed out that the Israeli demolition orders were carried out against the Palestinian houses under the pretext that they were built without permits. The Israeli authorities deliberately refuse to grant building permits to Palestinians as part of Israeli policy to deport Palestinians and confiscate their houses.

Fierce clashes at Aqsa Mosque after attempt to defile it by Jewish settlers

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Violent clashes broke out on Wednesday morning at the Aqsa Mosque after dozens of extremist Jewish settlers escorted by Israeli policemen and soldiers desecrated the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyard.

The Jewish settlers were not able to stay long at the Mosque after they were forced quickly to leave it under police protection by dozens of angry Palestinian young worshipers who were already there to protect it.

According to eyewitnesses, young men and women threw stones and shoes at the settlers and their police guards, as they were chanting “Allahu Akbar.”

Meanwhile, the Israeli army and police have turned east Jerusalem, especially its Old City, to a military base and established barriers and checkpoints throughout the holy city.

This led hundreds of Palestinians to perform their dawn prayers on the streets and roads that are adjacent to the walls of the Old Cty of Jerusalem after the Israeli occupation forces prevented those under the age of 50 from having access to the Old City and the Aqsa Mosque.

The Israeli army and police started last night to impose strict measures on the movement of the Palestinians in preparation for the mass entry of Jews in the morning to the Aqsa Mosque at the pretext of the Hebrew new year.

The intended mass desecration of the Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday morning, which was called for by fanatic Jewish figures and groups, prompted more than 50 Jerusalemite young men and women to spend their night inside the buildings of the Aqsa Mosque to defend them against possible Jewish break-ins.

The Israeli police, for their part, asked the guards of the Mosque compound to get the youths out of the buildings, but the guards refused to comply and confirmed their right to stay inside an Islamic holy site because they are Muslims despite the police threat to use violence to expel them from the Mosque.

One of the Mosque’s servants reported the intensive presence of special police forces inside its courtyard and at its gates following the clashes in an attempt to prevent more Palestinians from coming to back up the young people.

As a result of the Israeli procedures against the Aqsa Mosque, there is possibility of more confrontations between the Palestinian natives and the Israeli occupation forces during the coming hours as more Palestinian worshipers keep flocking to the Mosque.

Press conference opens despite detention of Sheikh Salah

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The press conference on Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque opened in occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday despite the Israeli detention of Sheikh Ra’ed Salah, leader of the Islamic movement in 1948 occupied Palestine.

The press conference, which was supposed to be addressed by Sheikh Salah, is held to deal with latest developments and threats against Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque.

Sheikh Ekrema Sabri, the head of the higher Islamic authority in Jerusalem, said that the detention of Sheikh Salah was in violation of the freedom of opinion.

He said that freedom of movement and speech should be respected, opining that Sheikh Salah was arrested to block his call for massive marches to the Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday.

For his part, Zahi Nujaidat, the Islamic movement’s spokesman, expressed utter dismay at the detention of Sheikh Salah, charging that the step was an attempt to disrupt pro-Aqsa activities and to terrorize citizens against participation in such activities.

Fuad Al-Khuffash, the director of Ahrar center for human rights, denounced the Israeli act, adding that it was meant to silence any voice defending the Aqsa and exposing Israeli occupation’s practices against it.

Israeli soldiers beat women resisting home demolition

Al Akhbar

Israeli soldiers used rifle butts to beat five Palestinian women who refused orders to leave their West Bank home ahead of a demolition on Monday, local media reported.

Occupation forces raided a home in the Jericho village of Fasayel early Monday and ordered the 12 residents to collect their things, and get out.

When five of the women refused to budge, troops attacked them with their rifle butts, homeowner Deifallah Rashaydeh told Ma’an news agency.

State news agency Wafa cited local activist Hamza Zbeidat as saying that the forces also fired tear gas and sound grenades at residents who had formed a human chain around the home.

Medics rushed the injured to a hospital for treatment, the reports said.

Bulldozers then demolished the family’s 10-year-old home and a shack that housed cattle.

Jericho governor Majid al-Fityani was quoted by Ma’an as calling the demolition a “slap in the face for those who advocate the resumption of peace negotiations,” during a visit to a hospital where the women were being treated.

Israeli demolitions of Palestinian homes and other structures in the occupied West Bank occur almost daily under the pretext of building without a permit in a policy that has drawn widespread condemnation from rights groups.

Roughly 94 percent of Palestinian applications for building permits are rejected, according to the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions.

The group estimates that Israeli authorities have demolished about 27,000 Palestinian structures in the West Bank since 1967.

Israeli court rejects petition to cancel resolution to evacuate 8 villages

AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– An Israeli court in Jerusalem rejected a petition submitted by residents of Msafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil in occupied West Bank, in which they appealed for cancelling the Israeli occupation army’s decision to confiscate, demolish and evacuate 8 villages for military purposes.

Haj Ziad Mkhamra, aged 59, told PIC’s correspondent that the court rejected the petition demanding cancelling the decision of the Defense Minister Ehud Barak to confiscate and evacuate 8 villages in Msafer Yatta.

Mkhamra said the President of the Israeli Supreme Court suggested that the residents choose a retired judge to mediate between them and the prosecutor in an attempt to reach a solution regarding the petition.

He added that the military prosecutor strongly rejected the suggestion of the chief judge and insisted on the implementation of the resolution, claiming that the cancellation of the eviction order means that the forces in the region will have to restart training in another far place which will cost money and time.

The residents stressed on their adherence to their land and their determination to defend it until the decision of the prosecution and the army is cancelled.

The area of Msafer Yatta is inhabited by more than 500 people living on agriculture and grazing sheep. The occupation former Defense Minister Ehud Barak had decided in 2012 to evacuate eight villages to be used for military purposes and training.

IOA expands Bzjat Ze’ev settlement in Jerusalem

OCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli Occupation continued its confiscation policy against Palestinian territories where the Israeli bulldozers have begun recently expanding Bzjat Ze’ev settlement, built on Beit Hanina lands in occupied Jerusalem.

Nearly 620 housing units are planned to be added to the settlement.

Settlement expert researcher Ahmed Sab Laban stated that the Israeli authorities started the process of building infrastructure networks in the area including electricity transmission and distribution networks, water and sewage utilities as a prelude to establish 620 new housing units to Bzjat Ze’ev settlement.

The establishment of the new housing units would isolate 50 Palestinian families living in a Jerusalemite neighborhood from Beit Hanina town, he said.

Sab Laban said that the new housing units will be established in high rise residential towers ranging from 9 to 13 storeys, while the Jerusalemite residents are prevented to obtain building permits to establish high rise buildings.

The Israeli occupation authority has surveyed the area to expand Bzjat Ze’evin in order to finish with the building of street no. 20 that will connect the settlement of Pisgat Ze’ev, Prophet Jacob, Anatot, Shuafat and Beit Hanina, Sab Laban stated.

New Israeli plan to attract thousands of Jewish settlers to Negev and Galilee

NAZARETH, (PIC)– The Israeli government approved a plan at a cost of 10 million shekels to bring about 300,000 Jewish settlers from other occupied areas to live in settlement outposts in Negev and Galilee.

According to the Hebrew radio, the government intends to help Jewish young couples with this project to pay the rents of the apartments they would buy, and to build affordable public housing units.

The Israeli mini-cabinet led by minister of finance Yair Lapid also decided to repair abandoned public buildings in these areas and turn them into cheap houses.

The Israeli Knesset had approved last June the plan submitted in 2011 by Benjamin Netanyahu’s director of planning Ehud Prawer to forcibly evacuate the Palestinian Bedouin villages in the Negev region and gather its population in other areas.

The Palestinians consider this plan as a new chapter of the Palestinian Nakba (catastrophe) because Israel intends to seize more than 800,000 dunums of their land in the Negev.

The Prawer plan would lead to the displacement of 40,000 Negev Bedouins and the destruction of 38 villages and hamlets.

These new excavations constitute a real threat to al-Aqsa mosque, the Foundation pointed out.

Israel is currently digging under the mosque in order to topple it aiming at replacing it with the alleged Temple.

It said that both groups toured the Mosque’s various walkways and sites and one of them offered Talmudic rituals at the eastern area of the Mosque.

AFEH said that policemen restricted movement of students who tried to confront the settlers and block their tour, adding that the settlers badmouthed the students.

The foundation revealed an Israeli security plan mainly stipulating the deployment of special forces in the vicinity of the Aqsa Mosque during the Jewish feasts that start next Wednesday to provide security measures for settlers who had announced plans to storm the holy site on that day.

AFEH appealed to the Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic masses to take urgent and effective moves to protect the occupied Aqsa Mosque and not to be content with statements of condemnation in such a critical stage.

Warnings of Israeli intents to build synagogue at Aqsa Mosque

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Palestinian ministry of culture in Gaza and the Beirut-based Al-Quds international institution warned of Israeli intentions to build a synagogue on parts of the Aqsa Mosque.

Minister of culture Mohamed Al-Madhoun stated on Friday that the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) initially approved a plan submitted by a Jewish religious group to seize parts of the Aqsa Mosque compound for the building of a synagogue.

Madhoun affirmed that this plan is one of the most serious Judaization projects that target the Aqsa Mosque as the calls for allowing the Jews to perform their rituals inside the Mosque has escalated lately.

He accused the Israeli occupation regime of being involved in the conspiracies which some Arab countries are being exposed to and exploiting the consequent difficult situation in the region to execute its schemes and crimes against Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque.

For his part, director of Al-Quds international institution Yasin Hamoud appealed to the organization of Islamic cooperation and the Arab League to intervene to stop this Israeli plan, which would trigger a new Palestinian intifada (uprising) in the occupied territories.

The newspaper confirmed that this year’s rate of increase is higher than the overall Israeli population increase rate that was estimated at 1.9% in 2012.

During the first six months of 2012, the number of Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank grew by 2.25% where 5,200 settlers have moved to settle in West Bank settlements, Israel Today said.

Assistant Secretary General of the West Bank settlements has called on the Israeli government to increase settlement construction in the occupied West Bank due to the increasing number of settlers moving to West Bank settlements.

Commenting on these facts, Peace Now organization stated that it would be impossible to achieve the two-state solution.

IOA to build more settlement units in eastern Jerusalem

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has endorsed the construction of new settlement units in occupied Jerusalem.

Hebrew daily Ha’aretz on Tuesday quoted minister of economy Naftali Bennett as saying that the government was intent on resuming construction of settlement units especially in Jerusalem.

He said that his party would not endorse any government decision to freeze construction of settlements in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

Bennett said that tenders would be put out within the few coming days for the construction of new housing units in Jerusalem and in other areas.

He also denied press reports that his party had agreed to the release of 104 Palestinian prisoners as a goodwill gesture to coincide with the re-launching of negotiations with the Palestinians.

Israeli calls to storm al-Aqsa mosque tomorrow

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Jewish organizations have called for organizing a march and mass rally at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday, demanding free access to and prayer in the Muslim holy site.

The rally is speculated to start from the Mughrabi Gate near Buraq Wall at 7:30 am, and to go around al-Aqsa doors to pressure the Israeli police to allow them to storm the mosque from all doors.

Senior rabbis and politicians will participate in the rally including Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, paratrooper and founder of the Temple Institute, the extremist Rabbi Yehuda Glick, and Deputy Speaker of the Israeli Knesset (Parliament) Moshe Feiglin, in addition to journalists and members of the right-wing Likud party.

This Israeli attempts to storm al-Aqsa mosque came in light of the Israeli calls to divide the mosque and impose a new status quo.

Palestine: MK calls for defiling Aqsa Mosque, another for killing Pal. & demolitions

Thousands participate in the World Quds Day march in Gaza

GAZA, (PIC)– Thousands of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip participated in the annual World Quds Day march, called for by the national and Islamic factions in Gaza on Friday afternoon.

The march was launched from Gaza mosques and was attended by leaders of factions, including a number of leaders and spokesmen of Hamas, the Islamic Jihad and the popular resistance committees.

The masses roamed the streets of the Strip and headed for the center of Gaza City, where they held a rally.

The marchers raised Palestinian flags, models of the Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock and banners denouncing the silence regarding the racist practices of the Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) against Islamic and Christian holy sites.

The factions’ leaders called during the festival for supporting Jerusalem and the Jerusalemites, and urged the Palestinian negotiator to end the futile negotiations with the IOA and not to waiver the Palestinian constants.

They also called on Arabs and Muslims to place the issue of Jerusalem on the top of their priorities.

IOA intends to turn Mosque in Jerusalem into synagogue

NAZARETH, (PIC)– The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) plans to convert a historical Islamic mosque in occupied Jerusalem to a synagogue, Haaretz newspaper said.

The newspaper said that the Israeli antiquities authority intends to remove all Islamic features of Nabi Dawoud (Prophet David) Mosque in Jerusalem after it was vandalized by Jewish settlers.

Extremist Jewish settlers stormed the Mosque recently and embarked on smashing its ceramic and marble walls, which dates back to the Ottoman era.

Instead of repairing the damage caused by the settlers, the Israeli antiquities authority decided to Judaize the Mosque, which was built in the seventh century, and turn it into a synagogue.

MK calls for defiling Aqsa Mosque, another calls for killing Palestinians

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Likud’s Knesset member Moshe Feiglin called for desecrating the Aqsa Mosque in thousands during the holy month of Ramadan, while the Jewish Home’s Knesset member Eli Ben Dahan called for killing the Palestinians.

A Hebrew channel quoted Feiglin as saying that preventing the Jews from entering what he described as the temple mount (Aqsa Mosque) during Ramadan is a source of concern, especially since it is associated with the Israeli diplomatic talks with the Palestinians.

Feiglin also expressed his fears of what he claimed as the Muslim takeover of the alleged temple mount in the framework of an intended agreement between the Israeli government and the Palestinian Authority.

For his part, Eli Ben Dahan, who also serves as a deputy minister of religious services, incited the Jewish settlers to kill the Palestinians.

In a press interview conducted by an Israeli magazine, Dahan described the Palestinians as “animals who do not deserve to live”, and called for killing them.

He claimed that the Palestinians do not want peace and teach their kids in refugee camps how to use weapons to kill the Jews.

IOF causes death of elderly woman in Al-Khalil

AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Thursday prevented a Palestinian ambulance from transferring an elderly woman in an emergency to hospital, which resulted in her death.

Coordinator of youth against settlement group Issa Amro said that Israeli soldiers hindered for about 20 minutes the transference of an elderly woman named Amina Abed Rabbo to hospital in Al-Khalil city.

Amro added that the woman was suffering from a brain stroke and needed urgent medical treatment in hospital.

He noted that the media unit of the group videotaped the soldiers as they were deliberately delaying the ambulance on Al-Ashuhada’a street in Tel Armida area.

IOA to demolish house and water wells west of al-Khalil

AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) on Saturday handed out notices to demolish Palestinian house and agricultural installations in the village of Koum near al-Khalil, south of the occupied West Bank.

Local sources told Quds Press’s correspondent that elements of the Israeli civil administration stormed the village at the early morning hours and ordered a citizen to demolish his house under the pretext of “illegal construction.”

They added that the civil administration team also notified another villager from the town of Koum to demolish water wells used to irrigate his agricultural lands under the pretext of the wells’ proximity to the Apartheid Wall.

Why is Al-Quds absent?!

(Al Quds, Palestine-file photo)

by Maysaa Ibrahim, Al Ahed news

There… in Occupied al-Quds a number of hidden facts that turn the bride of capitals and the center of divine religions into a black nightmare.

Not only does the “Israeli” excavations under al-Aqsa Mosque reach deep into 14 meters, but also the occupation’s constructions under the Holy mosque form a whole city that is able to accommodate millions.

Moreover, “Israel” continues to build tunnels from Silwan to other towns and cities to reach al-Aqsa.

This comes as ancient monuments and stones are deposited in “Israeli” museums and there are around 104 synagogues, including four large ones, that seize al-Aqsa.

Amid all this, the “Israeli” cleansing continues: the number of “Israeli” settlements inside the occupied city reached 29 as there exists a million “Israeli” settler compared to only 150 thousand Palestinians living on their occupied al-Quds territories.

Meanwhile, the “Israeli” identity has been recently given to the Palestinians sealed with the term “a temporary resident”, so that the Palestinian can be displaced from his city at any moment.

In conclusion, a great warning is issued: Al-Quds is in the last term of being completely Judaized.

This is the case of al-Quds today: sad streets, minarets, and wells that wait to be a lead news in our bulletins, a slogans above other logos, a title in the traffic of our series, a nationalist and patriotic project in face of racism, occupation, and Judaization.

The Secretary General of the Islamic Christian Agency to Support al-Quds D. Hanna Issa recalls how he once read all the Arab newspapers to find that its pages are empty of any news on al-Quds.

“Years ago, forty to fifty foreign media outlets used to contact us to get info regarding al-Quds,” he remembers, lamenting that the number today ranges from seven to ten foreign media outlets only.

According to Issa, the Arab media suffers death when it comes to the Palestinian cause in general, and Occupied al-Quds, in particular.

He also criticizes addressing the issue in an old, inaccurate, and dangerous manner, away from scientific terms.

In this context, Issa faults the promotion to the desecration of the “Israeli” settlers to al-Aqsa Holy Mosque as a so-called “Jewish pilgrimage to the mosque”.

“Muslims are the ones who perform pilgrimages to al-Aqsa and not the Jews,” explains Issa, criticizing the Arab and Islamic countries ill-performance in their duties towards the “holy land “.”
Perhaps, the experience of the director Basil Khatib confirms this fact.

The experience that lasted for twenty years built a conviction within the Syrian Palestinian director that “Any idea that deals with al-Quds or the Palestinian issue is forbidden, as if there is an implicit decision not to approach this subject,” Khatib says.

Furthermore, he mentions how the decision-makers in the production companies and channels reject each proposal in this area, although the approach is often launched from the humanitarian aspect of the tragedy: the tragedy of the Palestinian person, who was snatched from his land.

The painful reality indicates, according to the director of “Al-Quds and I” as well as other works that deals with the Palestinian issue and its symbols, the sickness of this nation.

“The relationship between the Arab and Islamic nation on one side and the attacks on the Holy city on the other side is the real index to the healthiness of this nation,” he clarifies, and points out that “our enemies succeeded in absenting al-Quds from the circle of our daily interests.”

However, it seems that they failed in making Khatib abandon what he considers a national and moral position, not just a work of art.

“Between al-Quds and my soul there exists a story of passion and love that was born when I was preparing to the “Al-Quds and I”, Khatib reveals.

He goes on to say: “Despite the fact that I have never visited al-Quds, I am fully aware of its neighborhoods and streets,” promising with a film that details the real events of a character that lived in al-Quds. The film, according to the director, is entitled “Life”.

For his part, the Palestinian journalist and analyst Nasser Laham is in daily coverage to al-Quds as well as to the diaries of its people.

“Al-Quds have been standing in the waiting queue since a hundred years. It waited to a victory heading from Baghdad, Algeria or any other Arab capital,” he confirms.

Moreover, the Palestinian reporter laments that “as al-Quds waited for the Arab armies to save it, it faces today a complex reality.”

On this level, Laham stops at what he called “the serious, intentional and deliberate reconstruction of the Arab consciousness through the way the Arab media approaches al-Quds cause.”

Based on his experience, he cites how the Arab satellite channels limit al-Quds issue to broadcasting the scenes of prayers inside al-Aqsa Holy Mosque. “The media cartels smartly worked on this side over the past years.”

Laham recalls a letter written by a group of intellectuals and released prisoners for the Arab States, ten years ago. The letter warned the Arab states that “Israel” is turning al-Quds into a big settlement…into a capital for Jews and settlers. It further urged the Arabs to provide support for al-Quds via construction projects: schools, universities, theaters, and transportation lines.

However, all what the the Arabs agreed on was to support the Palestinians with “Rahman” [Another Arabic name for al-Mighty God] meals.

“Do the Palestinian people need food? Do they need the Rahman meals?” Laham wonders angrily.

He also emphasizes: “We need the Rahman swords, armies, and men.”

However, Laham assures that al-Quds and its people didn’t surrender.

He proudly tells how al-Quds people refuses the Australian or Canadian citizenship added to $ 25 thousand dollars in exchange of their identity and land.

Quoting the people of the Holy city, the reporter stresses: “We will accept the debates, speeches, and letters. However, our city will have its own decision.”

“Al-Quds is the one that orders, roars, and decides,” he confirms pointing out that “as our city historically decided, it will draw its own future.”

And based on the historical determinism, Laham assures that “al-Quds will remain to the Arabs.”

Why? A word that is strongly present. Why is al-Quds absent? Why doesn’t it penetrate into our satellite channels? Why do we ignore its sufferings?

The Palestinian National Council member Salah Salah views that there are a variety of reasons for this painful reality that emptied the issue from any duties or obligations and turned it into utterances and slogans.
“Our enemies and the conspirators succeeded in tearing the Arab community apart so that the Arab countries became occupied with their internal conflicts, forgetting all about their common enemy,” he adds.

In addition, he states that the “Israeli” enemy and its supporters created another enemy to the Arabs, i.e. Iran. “They made Iran the enemy, despite being the only country to expel the “Israeli” ambassador and to hand the embassy to Palestine Liberation Organization.”

Salah unveils that “the US devoted millions of dollars to achieve the goal of distorting the image of Muslims and Arabs.”

“What does al-Quds and Palestine mean today to Qatar and Saudi Arabia, for example,” he asks, noting that “in its meeting with the US Secretary of State John Kerry, the Arab delegation refrained from discussing the issues of al-Quds, Judaization and the apartheid wall.”

On this level, Salah elaborates: “On the contrary, they rushed to agree on US orders to resume negotiations with the “Israeli”. This gives the “Israeli” enemy more time to complete its project to establish their state on all of Palestine.”

However, Salah assures that “the absence of al-Quds from the official Arab positions does not mean its absence from the conscience of the Arab peoples.”

Arabs! Where is Al-Quds?

Arabs! Where Is Al-Quds?

by Fatima Salemeh, source

To live in a country that is not your homeland…means your future is bewildering. This is the truth said by a Palestinian young lady, Dana, who has tasted the bitterness of immigration. She lives in one of the Gulf countries, she is deprived from living in her homeland just because she is Palestinian.

Dana realizes that the Palestinian cause has turned into a bunch of slogans and clichés, empty and pointless speeches as well. Distance keeping her away from al-Quds is the reason of her constant worry of where she would end up one day.

Since 65 years, Palestinians have been living in oppression, war and poverty and they find no place for them among Arab agendas, not even between the lines.

The Palestinian cause has been dropped from the Arabs agendas and schedules, it has been put on a dusty shelf. Saudi Arabia, for instance is busy with its schemes of sowing strife in the region. Qatar has drained all its energy in an open war against Syria. Egypt, for its part, is drowning in chaos, Bahrain has made itself available to lash its people, while Jordan is busy trying to patch its torn domestic affairs.

Moreover, Turkey, the Islamic state has undressed itself of all Islamic aspects, indulged in the US-“Israeli” kitchen of operations.

The sole defender of al-Quds was Syria, poor Syria which has topped the agenda list of the aforementioned states which seek destroying the Resistance and enabling the enemy to girdle al-Quds.
As for Iran, the Persian state, it has not forgotten al-Quds in any of its agendas, speeches or plans, not even once!

Back to Dana, she is unhappy commemorating al-Quds day thousands of kilometers away.. but she says she is one of the lucky Palestinians who can visit Palestine from time to time. Dana holds a wish in her heart: “Liberating Palestine and al-Quds from the dirty claws of the Zionist entity.”

“This country has the right to enjoy peace, just like all other countries and peoples. It has the right to live in security and wellbeing after all the wars and destruction,” she adds.

Palestinian author and thinker Taysir al-Khatib views that all the current events taking place in the Arab world and the region has made people somehow forget about the Palestinian cause. “Palestine has become lonely, besieged, choking with “Israeli” settlements, suffering from racial discrimination and occupation.

Al-Quds has become a definite target to the Zionist scheme, with the aim of Judaizing the city of peace which supposedly embraces all monotheistic religions.

Al-Khatib condemns Arab inaction towards the Palestinian cause.

“Al-Quds day has arrived this year coinciding with the so-called Palestinian-“Israeli” talks; talks that have proved futility over the past 20 years. It is shameful to hold talks while the settlement construction is on the move. ” he noted.

Al-Quds was occupied a few times over history, its people were displaced, its houses destroyed, its people, sanctities, properties exposed to all sort of attacks.

Yet, the will of Allah and the people refuse to tolerate such occupation to the a holy land, and divine victory will see light again.

’Israeli’ Media Threatened by “We’re Coming” Banner in Hebrew Hanged across Palestinian Border

Al Ahed news

“Israeli” media showed irritation ahead of al-Quds day preparations in Lebanon over a banner that was hung across the Occupied Palestinian borders saying “We are coming” in Arabic and Hebrew.

“Israeli” Yedioth Ahronoth described the banner as “ominous”, since it holds meanings of obliterating the very existence of “Israel”.

The banner with the phrase “we are coming” had an image of the al-Aqsa Mosque in al-Quds, Palestine.

Al-Quds Day, announced by the late Ayatollah Imam Khomeini as the last Friday in the holy month of Ramadan, is an occasion to express solidarity with the Palestinian cause, oppose Zionism, and show enthusiasm to liberate al-Quds from the arrogant Zionist enemy.

A ceremony on this day is due to be held in different Muslim countries around the world, and will be held in different areas in Lebanon as well based on Hizbullah’s Secretary General His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s request, where he is expected to deliver a speech on this day.

Tens of thousands flock to Jerusalem on the last Friday of Ramadan

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Tens of thousands of Muslim worshipers from the 1948 occupied Palestine and from different West Bank cities have been flocking to Occupied Jerusalem since last night to perform the last Friday prayers of Ramadan at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Al-Aqsa Foundation for Endowments and Heritage said in a press statement on Friday that tens of thousands of worshipers started flocking to al-Aqsa Mosque to perform the last Friday prayers of Ramadan there.

Bayareq Foundation in the 1948 occupied territories reported that for today and Sunday (Night of Decree) it will provide 200 buses to transport worshipers from all towns and villages in the 1948 Palestine to Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Meanwhile, the Israeli forces intensified their presence in the city of Jerusalem and deployed thousands of police and security elements in the form of groups throughout the city and at the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Israeli authorities have imposed strict restrictions on entry of worshipers to Jerusalem. The soldiers stationed at the checkpoints have prevented thousands of Palestinians from entering the occupied city, particularly children over the age of twelve and men under 40 years old.

RAMALLAH, (PIC)– The Israeli forces have killed one Palestinian and arrested 200 during July throughout West Bank and Gaza strip, Tadamun Foundation for human rights revealed.

Ahmad al-Bitawi, a researcher at the foundation, stated that Moataz Idris Sharawna, 19, was martyred after being hit by an Israeli jeep during clashes that erupted in Dura in al-Khalil.

The foundation’s report said that 200 Palestinians were detained during July including 40 minors between the ages of 12-18 years and 10 university students who study abroad.

IOA seeks to evict 1,300 Palestinians from al-Khalil

AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– The Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) are working to evict 1,300 Palestinians from their villages in al-Khalil in the southern West Bank, under the pretext of conducting military training.

“The state wants to evict 1,300 Palestinians from their homes in an army firing zone in the West Bank in part because training there saves the Israel Defense Forces time and money”, Haaretz newspaper stated, adding that settlers in the Israeli random settlements in the area will not be evicted.

The Israeli General Prosecutor introduced papers to the Israeli Supreme Court on Tuesday issuing the displacement of some 1300 Palestinians living in “the shooting area 918” in south Mount Hebron will save sources and time.

Petitions were presented to the Israeli prosecution to cancel the Israeli military order to deport the residents of 12 Palestinian villages established decades ago.

The newspaper pointed out that the military order does not include the Israeli random outposts built in the same area.

The Israeli authorities ordered to deport the same villagers in 2000 under the same pretext, but the court decided at that time their return to their villages until the final ruling in the case.
