‘Israel’ classifies Jerusalem natives as noncitizens

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli ministry of interior has come up with a new plan to expel the Palestinian natives of occupied Jerusalem from their city through classifying them as “noncitizens,” lawyer Ahmed Roweidi revealed.

Roweidi stated on Tuesday that the Israeli interior ministry started to specify periods for the residence of the natives in Jerusalem and classified them as noncitizens who are susceptible to deportation anytime.

Roweidi described this new measure as a prelude to a new ethnic-cleansing campaign against the Palestinian natives in the holy city.

He affirmed that a number of Jerusalemite citizens went lately to the Israeli occupation authority to renew their IDs and noticed that the word “resident” was added into the new cards with an expiry date for their residence in the holy city.

Prawer plan is the worst scheme to forcibly displace Arabs in history

GAZA, (PIC)– A report issued by The Directorate General for Legal Affairs, a division of the Palestinian ministry of justice, warned of the seriousness of Prawer plan that would forcibly displace 40 thousand of Palestinian Bedouins.

The report pointed out that implementing the Prawer plan would destroy approximately 40 villages, confiscate 800,000 dunums of Negev lands and restrict the Bedouins to 1% of their land effectively ending Palestinian presence in the Negev which constitutes two-thirds of ​​historic Palestine.

The Directorate General for Legal Affairs stated that Prawer plan laws prevent the compensation for lands located in mountains, valleys, or hills. It is worth mentioned that Negev lands are located amid mountains and hills.

IOA to close Ibrahimi Mosque on ‘The Night of Qadr’‎

AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) decided to close the Ibrahimi Mosque to Muslims on the 27th of Ramadan, which corresponds to The Night of Qadr ‎to make the way for Jewish settlers to celebrate one of their festivals.‎

Director General of Endowments in al-Khalil, Tayseer Abu Sneineh, confirmed that the ‎occupation authorities informed the Endowments department of its decision to close Ibrahimi Mosque to Muslim ‎worshipers, and of their intention to clear its corridors and yards for the settlers on ‎Monday, corresponding to August 5th, under the pretext of celebrating the Jewish festival.

It is noteworthy that Israeli occupation used to close Ibrahimi Mosque ‎and the surrounding streets ten days throughout the year under the pretext of Jewish ‎holidays. On these days, Muslims are banned from entering it in favor of ‎the Jewish settlers.‎

The Night of Qadr (Lailat ul Qadr) is a special night that occurs every year in Ramadan ‎and represents a golden opportunity for Muslims to gain blessings and forgiveness from ‎Allah.

IOF soldiers nab two Palestinians including student returning from the Ukraine

BETHLEHEM, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) nabbed two Palestinian young men from Bethlehem on Wednesday including a student at the Karame crossing on returning from the Ukraine.

Palestinian sources said that IOF soldiers manning the Karame crossing between the West Bank and Jordan arrested Anas Jawarish, 24, on his return from the Ukraine where he has been studying for the past seven years.

They said that another 22-year-old youth from Taku village was detained after the soldiers broke into his father’s house.

IOF soldiers rounded up two brothers from Al-Khader village in Bethlehem on Tuesday night while on their way to hospital for treatment.

An IOF army vehicle had turned turtle near al-Khader village last night after a firebomb was tossed at it.

Jordanian detainees enter their 80th day of hunger strike

RAMALLAH, (PIC)– The Jordanian prisoners in Israeli jails have entered their 80th day of the hunger strike which they started on 2 May.

Lawyer Hanan Al-Khatib, who visited the prisoners in Ramla jail, said that the hunger strikers threatened to stop taking fluids and drinking water if the prison administration kept detaining them in the section of mental patients and ignoring their serious health conditions.

The lawyer affirmed that the Israeli administration of Ramla jail deliberately humiliate the hunger strikers in general, especially the Jordanians who are detained in the section of mental patients inside a room with an insulated glass window.

She added that the Jordanian hunger strikers are exposed to daily search raids during which they are forced to stand naked for search and their belongings are tampered with amid insults of the jailers.
