Bahraini forces shoot, injure anti-regime protester

Saudi-backed Bahraini regime forces have shot and seriously wounded a teenage demonstrator during a protest rally.

The shooting took place during a peaceful protest on Saturday in Karzakan village, which lies along the western coast of the Persian Gulf Islands.

The demonstrators demanded the release of all political prisoners and demanded that King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa steps down from power.

At least 13 opposition leaders are held in prison for involvement in protests against the Bahraini regime.

The regime’s courts have handed down life sentences to seven of the activists, including prominent activist Abdulhadi al-Khawaja, and gave the others jail terms ranging from five to 15 years…
