IOA sets up a new road near Nablus in favor of an Israeli settler

NABLUS, (PIC)– The Israeli Occupation Authorities (IOA) inaugurated on Tuesday a new road through Palestinian agricultural land near the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank, in favor of an Israeli settler who seized a piece of land in the area.

“An Israeli bulldozer continued to work for the second day to set up a road for a Jewish settler seized an agricultural land near the Khirbet Yanun of the town Aqraba near the city of Nablus,” the Committee for the Defense of Aqraba’s lands confirmed, pointing out that this step will lead to confiscate more agricultural land in the area.

The Palestinian committee explained that “the mentioned road is hundreds of meters long and links between Itamar settlement and the confiscated land, noting that the occupation continues to target the area, aiming to seize hundreds of dunums of the villagers’ agricultural lands.

IOF sprays waste water on citizens’ houses at Al-Nabi Saleh village

NAZARETH, (PIC)– Human rights group B’Tselem accused the Israeli occupation forces of spraying Palestinian houses in Nabi Saleh village with wastewater.

The occupation procedure came as a collective punishment against the villagers, for the protests that they have been organizing every week against the apartheid wall and the confiscation of the village’s lands for settlement projects.

The Israeli human rights group said in a press release on Wednesday that it has documented a video showing the occupation soldiers targeting houses in Nabi Saleh village, near Ramallah in the West Bank, with special cannon that sprays smelly water.

The attack caused material losses to the Palestinian houses, in addition to the environmental and psychological damage.

The video also shows an Israeli military vehicle spraying the wastewater on a room of a citizen house from close range.

B’Tselem said that the Israeli forces have developed cannon that sprays wastewater, as an effective means used to disperse demonstrations and have claimed that they will not use it against civilians who do not participate in the protests. However, the video proves the falsehood of their claims.

IOF deliberately arrests H.R activists to disguise its crimes

GAZA, (PIC)– The Palestinian Center for Prisoners’ Studies stated that the recent Israeli arrest campaigns targeting the Palestinian intellectual class aims at silencing the voice of the truth.

Targeting Palestinian human rights activists and researchers in prisoners’ affairs is an Israeli political deliberate policy, the center explained in a report issued on Wednesday, pointing out that the occupation authorities transferred these activists to administrative detention due to the lack of incriminating evidence against them, according to the report.

The occupation deliberately kidnapped activists and researchers in prisoners’ issue, to keep them for months and years behind bars to ensure that Israeli ongoing crimes and torture and harassment practices against prisoners are not documented, the center stated.

In the same context, the center condemned the arrest of the researcher in prisoners’ studies Thamer Saba’neh, 37, after raiding his home in the town of Qabatiya east of Jenin in the West Bank, taking him to an unknown destination, where they searched his home and confiscated his computer and cell phone.

Riad Ashqar, director of the center, confirmed that the occupation forces stepped up their arrest campaign in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem targeting all segments of Palestinian society, including sick and disabled persons, academics and university students and researchers, in order to hide the truth.
