Bahraini opposition accuses regime of trying to thwart dialogue

Al Manar

Anti-regime political assemblies in Bahrain accused on Monday the regime of trying to thwart dialogue, after it refused the participation of a representative for the king in the talks.

The opposition further renewed its calls for referring any proposal related to the political regime and its structure to referendum.

In contrast, the Bahraini government called for serious action by all parts, in order to put a schedule for a dialogue which embraces unity.

On another hand, the Bahraini Ministry of Interior refused to release the body of martyr Mahmoud Al-Jazeeri in order for his family to bury it, despite that nine days have passed on his death.

For its part, the ministry set a condition for releasing the body, as it demanded his family to bury him outside his hometown, where he lived all his life, and where his family is.
