IOF soldiers open indiscriminate fire at Husan homes

BETHLEHEM, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) mounting six armored vehicles on Tuesday afternoon stormed the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, and fired rubber-coated bullets and gas bombs at citizens’ homes.

Locals said that the soldiers broke into many houses in the village, which are adjacent to the main road trekked by Jewish settlers, and violently assaulted the inhabitants.

They added that the soldiers were searching for stone throwers.

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli occupation municipality teams knocked down walls and sheds in Aisawiya village and imposed a security cordon on the area.

IOF command, meanwhile, agreed to reopen the main entrance to Salfit city before bus traffic as of next week. The road was closed for more than seven years.

The Salfit district said in a statement on Tuesday that the IOF said that the road would be open before in and out traffic of busses only as a first step.
